Join Anneka Manning, founder of BakeClub and author of BakeClass, at Milk HAUS in Milton, on the beautiful South Coast of NSW, for a demonstration-style workshop to create a collection of pies and tarts perfect for winter.
Anneka will guide you through making and using a range of pastries including shortcrust, cheat's rough puff and rich sour cream pastry.
From fabulous Chicken, Leek and Thyme Pies and rustic Egg & Bacon Pies perfect for brunch, to a decadent Salted Caramel Chocolate Tart and a to-die-for Pear Tarte Tatin you will leave this class with an invaluable collection of both sweet and savoury pastry-encased creations that will become firm family favourites.
Anneka will also share loads of helpful hints, tips and tricks to ensure you leave with the know-how, confidence and inspiration to bake pies and tarts all winter long.
This class is suitable for everyone from absolute beginners through to experienced bakers. It will include morning tea, a demonstration-style workshop, and light lunch to conclude. An intimate group size will allow for "hands-on" opportunities throughout the workshop.
